House Usage

All rooms are equipped with air conditioning.  Please be sure and turn off the a/c when not in use.  The ceiling fans are ok to be left on.

We have started you off with some household supplies for your stay.  When you need more, there is an Econo in town where you will be able to find any supplies needed.  This is a full serve grocery store. 

There is a washer and dryer available for you use.  Please do not put sandy towels, clothes or shores in the washer/dryer.

Pura Vida is a non-smoking house. Please mind the no-smoking policy of the house.  Please take care when eating or drinking near any furniture upholstery or bedding.  Please do not leave any wet clothing or food items on furniture. 

We hope your stay in our home has been a wonderful experience.  Check out time is 10am sharp.  Before leaving please check the house for all your personal items, please strip beds and bundle linens on the bed, leave towels in the bathroom.  Load any dirty dishes in the dishwasher.  Please bring all trash to the outside trash bins. 

Final Payment is due three (3) weeks prior to arrival date.  Payment can be made in cash, money order or bank check only.

Security/damage Deposit***of $1500.00 must be made with Final Payment.  Separate payments are required and should be sent together. 

 ***Your security/damage deposit will be mailed to you within four (4) weeks of your departure after inspection the same day.  The property should be left relatively close to the manner in which it was first entered.  The renter will be charged for any damage or loss made to the property from the security deposit.  The renter will be charger $25. for any lost towel.  A cleaning fee will be charged if the house is left unkempt.  (All garbage must be brought to their outside receptacles and the dishes should be washed).  A cleaning service is available for $20 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. This must be set up prior to arrival to guarantee this rate.

Upon receipt of you deposit check (50% of rental rate), made payable to Chris Dolan 110 Roosevelt Blvd, Long Beach, NY 11561 your reservation will be confirmed.  This deposit is subject to our cancellation policy, which requires notification of your cancellation 120 days prior.  There will be no refund to cancellations after the 120 days.  We will retain a 10% processing fee on the total cost and return the remaining amount.  Our policy is that no pets are allowed unless you make a special request.  Check in time is 3PM.  Check out time is 10am.

The house is within a residential neighborhood.  The local noise abatement forbids any loud music of parties past the hour of 11pm.  Any complaints to the owner of violating this provision may result in the forfeiture of your full deposit.

Owner is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

Renter must be at least 30 years of age.  Photo license MUST be provided with FINAL PAYMENT.

Cancellation of early departure due to inclement weather, acts of God or airport closures will NOT result in a refund of your deposit.
